The Kent Jaycees is a group of young professionals, ages 18-40, who work together to strengthen our community in many ways. Becoming a Jaycee is a great opportunity to network, strengthen personal and professional skills, and make a difference in our community. Come check us out on the second Wednesday of the month, at 7pm, when we have our monthly meeting. Our HQ is the Marvin Kent train car located next to the Pufferbelly Restaurant in downtown Kent. Our organization was established in 1940.

(Friday before Halloween usually) Around Halloween, Main Street Kent puts on the Family Friendly Halloween event which asks local business to open their doors and have kids trick-or- treat downtown. The Polar Express is a family friendly event hosted by the Jaycees in the month of December. We open up our Train Car to over 200 children (40 per session for multiple sessions).
